Text Box: After over thirteen years of loyal service in a variety of roles, Ms Barbara Bakoh, has left the company for personal reasons.         All the staff are extremely sad to see Barbara leave us, as she       became like part of the furniture here at Canons over the years.  Many long standing members and non-members will also be sorry to see Barbara move on, as she was someone that provided that personal touch, indeed she knew most members by their first names! But it was when dealing with the many children that use the centre that Barbara really came into her own, catering for all their individual needs.  Good luck Barb’s and stay in touch! Text Box: 2008 Christmas Newsletter Text Box: Canons Sports Centre Text Box: 1-2-1 Swimming Lessons We are pleased to announce that in the school holidays throughout the year we will be offering one to one swimming lessons. Lessons of this nature are designed for pupils who need extra attention, or for those who want to develop their skills with the focus solely on themselves. These lessons are 30 minutes long and will cost £20 per lesson for non-members, with existing Canons members receiving a 10% discount.  We are running these lessons between 1.30—4.30pm during the school holidays, Monday-Friday.  If you are    interested in signing your child/children or yourself up for these   lessons please enquire at reception or call; 0208 951 5402. Text Box: Members Swimming Notices Text Box:   The last admission time for members to access the swimming pool is 15 minutes before the pool closes; i.e. Wednesday evening 8.45pm for 9pm close, Sunday afternoon 5.45pm for 6pm close. Members are requested to stop swimming on time and are asked not to start another length cycle if the closing time has been or will be reached during the time taken to swim the next cycle of length's. On Sunday’s members are requested to leave the pool a couple of minutes before 12.00pm, so our staff can set up in time for the start of swimming lessons.   Merry Christmas And A Happy New Year To All Canons Customers From Stuart, Andy, & Fou, Canons Management Team. This goes to help the Marie Curie Cancer Care, well done to all the participants.
