Text Box: Swimathon 2008 All swimming members’ are reminded that on Sunday 20th April we are hosting a Swimathon event from 4-7pm.  Therefore, the pool will not be open for members use that afternoon.  Swimathon 2008 is in support of Marie Curie Cancer Care, of which we are sure you will all agree is a very worthy cause.  We would like to invite members & non-members to participate as well as volunteer with the running of this event, so if you are free that afternoon please contact Andrew at reception for more details. Text Box: 2008 EASTER  NEWSLETTER Text Box: CANONS SPORTS CENTRE Text Box: Opening Times & Guest Passes Please can all members’ continue to adhere to the operating times that are outlined in the membership packs.  All areas of the centre have differing times of opening & these need to be maintained at all times. Copies of the opening times are available on request at reception.  We would also like to remind all members’ of the rules regarding guest passes and there usage: - guest passes are issued to lead members only upon renewal of annual   memberships; - members must accompany anyone using one of their guest passes, - guest passes can be used to gain access to the pool, sports hall,   aerobics classes & tennis, BUT NOT FOR THE FITNESS STUDIO; - the same guest may only visit a maximum of 6 times in any one year; - guest passes may be available at other times at the discretion of the   management. Text Box: Playing Tennis @ Canons   Over the Easter holidays the hard & Astroturf tennis courts will be erected.  Members are requested to book up courts over the phone our in person.  You will need to leave your membership card at reception in exchange for a key which is attached to a plastic orange triangle, which you will need to display on the side of the tennis court.  This is to ensure that all users of the courts are Canons members, and have visited reception before playing.   HAPPY EASTER TO ALL CANONS MEMBERS & NON-MEMBERS FROM STUART, ANDREW, BARBARA, SAM & FOU. Text Box: EASTER EXTRA HOURS   Text Box: NLCS GCSE EXAMS Text Box: Its nearly the time of year again when the school use half the sports hall for their GCSE  exams.  Please look out for more information posted around the centre, especially outside the sports hall regarding the restrictions on time for booking courts. Thank you in advance for your cooperation. Text Box: PLEASE REMOVE OUTDOOR FOOTWEAR Text Box: We continue to ask all users of the wet changing rooms to remove their outdoor shoes before entering, so we can keep this area as clean as possible. Text Box: AMENDMENT TO SWIMMING TIME Text Box: On Wednesday 2nd April the pool will open for the evening members swimming session at 6.30pm due to the adult swimming lessons that are running at 6.00pm.  Thank you for your co-operation in advance. Text Box: We have just published the  EXTRA hours available to members over the Easter      period. Please be aware that these hours are alongside the normal operating hours. Also take note that we are closed on Good Friday & Easter Sunday, & open between 10 am—2 pm only on Easter Monday.
