Text Box: Those of you who are regular users of the swimming pool might have noticed that the quality of the water has improved since   September!  This is because of the state of the art Ultra-Violet   filtration system we have installed into the current pool plant  equipment.  The main benefit of this system to you, the bathers, is the reduced chemical levels in the pool itself, including chlorine.   This will assist you in having an even more enjoyable experience when you swim, as you should notice the difference on your skin and in the atmosphere around the pool.  So tell your family and friends to come and have a swim in our wonderful pool.                        Text Box: Swimming Pool Gets Early Xmas Present—Ultra Violet System Text Box: 2007 Christmas Newsletter Text Box: Canons Sports Centre Text Box: 1-2-1 Swimming Lessons   We are pleased to announce that in the school holiday periods throughout the year we will be offering one to one lessons.        Lessons of this nature are designed for pupils who need extra     attention, or for those who want to develop their skills with the focus solely on them. They will be for 30 minutes long and will cost £20 per lesson for non-members, with existing Canons members       receiving a 10% discount.  We are looking at running lessons in the early part of the afternoons in the school holidays, Monday-Friday.  If you are interested in signing your child/children or yourself up for these lessons please enquire at reception or call; 0208 951 5402. Text Box:   We continue to ask all  users of the swimming pool to have a shower  before they swim.  With the fantastic  Ultra-Violet system installed we are reducing the amount of chemicals in the pool.       However, if everyone who uses the pool has a shower, we can reduce these amounts even more.          So please take time out  to rinse yourselves down     before every swim.   Thank You In Advance. Text Box: Over the Xmas period Canons opens it doors to members for extra time.  These hours are extra and complement the normal opening hours.  If members lose their copy of these times please read the notice boards, or ask for other copies at reception.
